After the recent sudden passing of my husband in an Aged Care Facility, I engaged Bare to take care of his funeral arrangements. From the moment I first spoke to a Bare staff member (Bec) who advised me on the next steps, the level of service I received was above my expectations. My planner, Jake, showed compassion and understanding and was only too happy to answer my many questions. He checked in regularly to see how I was getting along. He was prompt and reliable. There is no company out there that can come close to being as phenomenal as Bare!! Dealing with loss is tough enough, having to plan the funeral is just as difficult, however, with Bare’s constant contact, support and compassion from everyone involved, it made the process much easier to cope with and gave my family the perfect send off for my grandfather. Bare also found a celebrant for us, Dee Weisner, who did an amazing job. Dee was so warm and understanding, it was like she was apart of the family. I recommend if you’re looking for a celebrant, ask for Dee. I do have special mention to some of the people who helped out for my Grandfathers service: Mae, you did incredible (see images for example of her work) the booklets and slideshow were a hit, everyone loved both, I can’t thank you enough. There was also Tarah who read my mind and suggested handing out Lei’s (it was nice to know my idea wasn’t entirely crazy), Natalie for handling the NSW paperwork and being a champ dealing with my tech issues. There were others whom I am unable to remember their names (my apologies), you all were so amazing, your kindness helped my family and I during this difficult time and without your help we wouldn’t have been able to give him the perfect send off. Funny thing about death, when someone you love passes, no one really tells you just how much work and preparation will need to go into planning their funeral. You sit there in your grief, dumbstruck, trying to come to grips with the fact that the person you love most in this world is now gone, its numbing. The sheer thought of picking venues, coffins, catering, flowers, invitations, video’s of remembrance, just seems all too hard to wrap your head around. I then found Bare Funeral Services; and it was like my mum was watching over me. When I felt like I just needed to crawl up in a ball and run away, the staff from Bare were insurmountable in not only supporting me through these sad times, but went above and beyond to work tirelessly in the background, to still ensure everything came together for the day of her funeral. I want to give a big shout out to Chelsea, this woman literally became my counsellor, her loving heart to just listen, her support to organise where I didn’t have the strength, and ability to get things locked down, was my saving grace. I could never have done it, and I will always be grateful to her for this. My mum’s funeral could not have been more perfect. At the worst time of my life, when my wife of 52 years suddenly passed away, BARE helped me through this terrible grief with so much compassion, care and professionalism, allocating an individual staff member Kelly, as my personal arranger and single point of contact throughout the funeral process. Bare Funeral was exemplary in laying down the processes and having a person nominated to look after you each step of the way. Bare Funeral online check list ( dashboard) is so helpful completing necessary task. They also offer free legal advice, if required, which i accepted and found so helpful. As for the day of remembrance, it ran so smooth everything one commended positively on such a moving experience.

We couldn't have done it without Bare. The family decided to produce our own service with slides and speakers from the family. We chose the slides, selected the entry and exit music, and other music to be played in-between speeches. Bare organized it perfectly, including the handouts to attendees. Also, since we have many family and friends overseas or who couldn't attend the service, the ability to have the video available for months online was invaluable. But above all, the knowledge, competence, sensitivity and kindness shown to us during this difficult process where we had a funeral within 10 days of my mother's passing was very much appreciated, all with minimal intrusion. We are so pleased with our son's funeral from start to finish. I experienced Bare on the Gold Coast last year with my younger brother's funeral (a Memorial service following Cremation) and thought they did it really well. Simply excellent. Everything was organised perfectly, and the funeral service was lovely. I'm sure my dad would have loved it. I was kept up to date at every stage, and things were simple to organise, with the help of Tegan. The team are very respectful and accommodating. The quote I was given at the start was the amount I paid at the end of it all.

Our Dad had told us for years, we thought jokingly, that when his time came that we should use Bare Funerals.
