Steven Hugh Robson Morris - the larger than life, joke cracking, John Howard impersonating, smart, strong, kind, seafaring, happy, funny, lavishly loving and very loud man of great integrity passed away peacefully after a 4 month fist fight with glioblastoma, aged 66.
All who knew him are bereft, the world is a little quieter and not nearly as bright without him. You are encouraged to help keep his story alive by sharing a memory or reflection on this page.
Steve was very much about keeping kids safe, so instead of flowers or the like, a donation in Steve's name to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation would be so much appreciated.
Thank you for adding a memory. It means a lot to comfort families and to keep the memory of Steve alive.

When I think back to one of the hardest times in my life , I always see Steve - my old neighbour - right there and always doing something kind. He was more than a neighbour , he was a guardian Angel with a tool box . He checked in without prying and lent a hand when needed. He was so kind to my children , especially my twin boys . One of their bikes had broken and I had no idea how to fix it . Without hesitation Steve not only repaired the bike but turned around a bought

He loved a glass of wine and a chat just like I do. Steve was one in a million . I was lucky to have known him and blessed to have called him a neighbour and a friend .
There was a lot of love in the room on this day. , of Steve and Di’s wedding. Such happiness which will live on forever.
Way too many memories for this guy - and way too many words but here are my faves of our Thailand trip.

Our dear Steve,
Here is a brief collection of wonderful memories that the four of us shared and if only for a brief time, it gave us all indelible memories.
One of the most memorable was your boisterous and loving personality. You embraced Tahiti and it embraced you and Di saw the nautical adventurer in you.
So our dear friend thumb through these pages…recall the experiences we shared and lock them into your mind and take them with you eternity.
But hey Steve, we are not all that far behind you…so as Captain James Cook once sailed ahead and found safe anchorages in these beautiful waters… sail away Steve…. find a safe place to anchor and turn up the stern light for us to find you.
We will all meet again in this heavenly place….one day
May your God be with you!
Leigh & David
Shared many times together but this day was extra special. ❤️
Stevo, in your final letters to me, you stressed the value of friends and family – one and the same thing when friends are as true as you. The many kind words you wrote I can also use to describe you, my friend, and I also am “so proud to have been a part of your life”. I will continue to be there for Di, Crystal, Courtney and Alex – and of course ‘Daisy girl’ – and we will share our memories of the many, many great times with you. But be warned, we’ll take the mickey as well. You’ll

I will continue to be there for Di, Crystal, Courtney and Alex – and of course ‘Daisy girl’ – and we will share our memories of the many, many great times with you.
But be warned, we’ll take the mickey as well. You’ll no doubt hear us – and get a chuckle.
We will continue to play the music you loved and dance after dinner.
We will continue to work hard to achieve our best, an example you set so well yourself.
And we will continue to love and care for each other.
Steve, you showed love in action – the only kind that truly matters – and you definitely have left this world a better place. Rest in peace, dear man.
The OMG! Team were away in Melbourne at Werribee Mansion working on our team structure and strategic plans for the next few years ahead.

Steve, may your soul be gently carried into the light and love of the next life. May you be surrounded by peace, guided by grace, and welcomed by those who have gone before you. Though your earthly journey has ended, may your spirit be free, surrounded by light, love, and the beautiful memories of all those whose lives you touched. You live on in the hearts of those who love you and in the quiet presence of all you were. Rest now in eternal peace. 🕊️
