Gerry was always such a kind, warm caring person. When we were younger and going over to Davey Street to hang out, Gerry was always so welcoming to us all.
A wonderful mum to her beautiful children. She will be so missed.

Hey my old friend Gerry Mary Ronny, I want you to know how much our friendship meant to me as a young mum. From the moment I met you I knew you were my tribe. You drank, you had a great sense of humour, you smoked and you swore, it bonded us. 😂😂 Bringing up our kids together was a highlight, we laughed, we cried, we shared secrets, we got drunk (even when we were looking after our kids, sooooo naughty of us) , we holidayed together at Rosebud & Rye and were each other’s support system during the baby, toddler, kinder and school years. You were more like a sister than a friend. I loved your children (still do) and love the friendships they still have. Unfortunately our lifestyles changed and we slowly drifted apart, but I’ve never forgotten those days, or you. I’m so sad you’ve left us all but you will leave behind a huge legacy. Your bright smile and zest for life will live on in your children and I’m sure your grandchildren too. You will never ever be forgotten. I love you my friend, sleep peacefully. Gerry was always so warm and welcoming, and I have such fond memories of time spent together as families. Living on the same street, playing at your house, and those special Christmas Eve nights, us kids putting on concerts for the parents. These are memories I’ll always treasure.
