Angeloantonio “Tony” Chiodo was born in Italy on 2 May 1944, to parents Michel and Teresa Chiodo.
In 1956, Tony made Australia his home, beginning a new chapter that would shape the rest of his life.
At the age of 24, Tony married the love of his life, Carole, and together they built a family and a life filled with love and dedication. He was a proud father to Rodney, Marcus, Louise, and Michael. He was also a proud grandfather to Eythan, Finn, Zachary and Francesca.
Tony worked as a carpenter, a trade that reflected his strong work ethic, skill, and commitment. He made his home in Donvale, where he became a valued member of the community and formed lasting friendships.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, family member, and friend, Tony touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the memories, stories, and love he leaves behind. We invite you to help keep Tony’s story alive by sharing a memory, reflection, or message in his honour.
Thank you for adding a memory. It means a lot to comfort families and to keep the memory of Tony alive.

That spirit has not faded, it will live on in our memories and our hearts in a warm natural way.
It seems he lived a lot like he played the guitar, with his own rhythm and resonance.
I know how profoundly this must impact you, Carole. Know you are surrounded with love.
Tony, you will be missed. Thank you for the memories and laughter we shared. Farewell my friend

To Michael and the Chiodo family, my deepest condolences on the passing of your dear Tony. I've known Michael for many years and been a part of his health journey, through that time, he shared many fond stories of his beloved dad, A person who seems to have had such an impact on so many. Cherish the memories and joy they bring through the saddest of times.
