I remember a time when my dad took me to the races It was bright and it was the most fun of all places We had a friend with us and we were allowed to bet He would put on a punt and there was money we would get If the horse didn’t win, it was no problem for me I didn’t pay for the losses, I only received money with glee I thought my dad was amazing and generous to us all We had a fun day and went home with a haul My dad was fun and laughter
I remember a time when my dad took me to the races

We had a friend with us and we were allowed to bet

I didn’t pay for the losses, I only received money with glee

We had a fun day and went home with a haul
My dad was fun and laughter and lots of good times
He liked to party and to play and could banter in fun
He had stories to tell and lots of things to say
He could be the life of the party, he liked his friends, his family and everyone when he was out to play!
John was the most fun loving wonderful man. He always had a joke and magic trick at our cocktail parties,he was so entertaining I’m going to miss those times.. He was a lovely neighbour and friend who always had the thumbs up when I waved.. Rest in Peace John you will be forever missed 😔❤️
