Parklands Tavern has a variety of spaces available that you can choose from to suit your loved one’s beautiful celebration of life. The Birdcage is a private function room that has an outdoor garden area, and has a maximum capacity of 50 guests. The Garden Courtyard is a perfect space to honor your loved one in a peaceful outdoor setting. This space can also accommodate up to 50 guests in a seated arrangement. The Chook House is a new small group function space ideal for a private yet beautiful memorial of up to 60 standing guests. Catering is also available and offered for all spaces.

Brighton and Seacliff Yacht Club offers a relaxed atmosphere that is ideal for a celebration of life ceremony. The club's comfortable and casual setting creates an informal environment that allows guests to feel at ease while remembering the life of your loved one. With a capacity of up to 120 people, the venue provides an intimate space for family and friends to come together for a lovely memorial service. BSYC provides catering packages and doesn't permit external caterers or the use of its facilities by hirers or 3rd parties to maintain their standards.

The Carrington - The Ballroom
The Carrington is a historic hotel with excellent function spaces, well situated in Katoomba. The Carrington's Ballroom is a large, lavish space that may be used for a variety of events. It emanates a sense of grandeur and charm with its magnificent chandeliers, intricate ceilings, and traditional architecture. The Ballroom comfortably accommodates up to 100 seated guests. This venue is well loved for its timeless and elegant atmosphere. For smaller functions of up to 30 guests, The Library is ideal, with wood panelled walls and an open fireplace.

With the entire space available exclusively for your use, you can customise it to perfectly reflect the beautiful memory of your loved one. Bright and modern, the venue is filled with natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The venue includes a projector, sound system, a wireless microphone and TV available for your use. The venue can accommodate up to 140 guests, making it an ideal location for a large gathering. While there are no kitchen facilities available, the venue offers its own in-house catering, including beer and wine.
