Unlike many other funeral directors who say ‘goodbye’ after the funeral service is over, Bare Aftercare is our way of ensuring you’re supported throughout the entire end-of-life journey.

Your dedicated aftercare concierge will be there to support you throughout the entire post-death journey, from handling government paperwork to helping you take care of your own wellbeing.

Avoid the overwhelm of post-death administration, by letting us help to:

Frequently asked questions.
What if I don't need all of these services?
Will this cost me anything if I’m a Bare customer already?
No! If we are arranging a Bare Cremation, Funeral or Memorial on your behalf, then our Bare Aftercare services outlined above are included as part of your Bare service. We recognise that losing a loved one requires more than just a cremation or memorial service, so we do what we can to support our families throughout many different challenges they face.
How does this differ from estate administration?
Estate administration is the process of legally transferring ownership of assets after a loved one passes away. This may require applications to court utilising a law firm, such as Bare Law. Through our aftercare service we will help you kick-start your estate administration journey by searching for your loved one’s assets and offering you a free consultation with a lawyer from Bare Law to determine your best legal path forward.
Will my aftercare concierge be the same as my funeral arranger?
We have a dedicated aftercare team that will act as your concierge throughout this process. While they work closely together, this will be a different person from your funeral arranger. Your arranger will remain your primary contact throughout the cremation and Bare funeral / memorial service.
Will I need to do anything?
We will guide you through the entire process and, where possible, do things on your behalf. We will require specific information from you and may require authorisation to act on your behalf
