Trycia is passionate about supporting families through the process of planning a service for their loved one. She believes a memorial ceremony is an opportunity to embrace the grief and sadness that they are experiencing, but it also provides an opportunity to celebrate a loved one’s life.
With each ceremony, she spends time with the family to work through what is important to them in relation to the service: Where they would like to have the ceremony? Who will be involved? What photos and music? And how much time they would like to talk about their loved one.
Trycia is committed to giving a person a send-off that truly honours their life. But at the same time, provide a ceremony that allows family and friends to be fully connected to their sadness and loss, then leave feeling that they have celebrated their loved one's life - which can help with the healing.
She has been involved with planning services large and small. Trycia believes the type and content of the service should reflect the loved one being celebrated, so she will listen to what is important to you, and make that happen.
Trycia also has a Diploma of Professional Counselling, with a major in Grief Counselling.
