I had an exceptional experience with the Bare team - guiding and supporting me every single step of the way, during what has been the most difficult time of my life. From my initial first call, I was guided and supported every step of the way. They clearly explained the process - I would have 3 points of contact - my Organiser, the celebrant, & a Graphic specialist handling the creative etc. And what an incredible team. Thankfully all reached out often & gently & respectfully reminded me of the time deadlines. If they hadn’t, I honestly would not have done it. I could not bring myself to do any of the very important tasks required. Our celebrant was a very caring and deeply compassionate person who helped me immensely with planning mum’s memorial. She took the time to get to understand the amazing person mum was, & just knew what she would say about mum would be perfect… and it was. I was really struggling with writing me eulogy. I just couldn’t exactly articulate what I wanted to say. She kindly offered to read my version, & helped make it more concise yet conveyed the same message. It was perfect. On the day, she was so gentle, professional, & incorporated mum’s spiritual side in perfectly. At the end, many of the guests also commented just how beautifully she spoke, and her words were so comforting to all of us there on the day. Then the incredible graphic specialist. So talented creatively, but also so patient, empathetic and supportive, as she lead me through each step. The final version is just so perfectly depicting our beautiful mum, as was the photos montage and music. I still look at them often now. I will treasure this always. Our Bare coordinator who handled everything on the day, gently guided and supported myself, and the entire family throughout the morning. Carefully coordinating everything so it all ran seamlessly, and it did. So professional and yet so thoughtful. I must admit I was a bit concerned initially at the thought that there wasn’t a physical ‘office’ as such… but it was irrelevant I quickly realised, due to the care I was receiving, regardless of the person’s location. In fact, it felt far more relaxed, and far less ‘cookie cutter’, which I liked. The Dashboard & the technology associated with it, are very impressive. It was my go-to most days… often multiple times per day. To keep me on track with tasks & prompts from my ‘To Do’ list. I loved that I could monitor RSVP’s, & the photos and memories tabs are also things I hope I can continue to look back on. I am grateful to the founders of Bare for business model they have created, the exceptional team they have employed, and for allowing us to tailor memorials to honour our loved ones, all at a competitive cost. Mum’s memorial, whilst so sad as it was finally ‘real’, was such an incredibly beautiful tribute to remember our beloved mum. All of our guests commented just how perfectly it reflected mum, and the entire memorial was perfect. BARE were very understanding and supportive throughout the process of planning my husbands cremation and memorial service. I was consulted on everything and they guided me through the whole process enabling me to choose flowers, booklets, music, venue, photos etc The resulting memorial service was entirely appropriate in capturing my husbands life story and enabled the family to express their feelings and snapshots of his life. The celebrant recommended by BARE was excellent and visited me at home before the ceremony, as were the BARE staff at the ceremony. The whole process was largely done by phone calls and emails which was my preference and there were no problems along the way. I found BARE to be an economical decision as well as providing an excellent result and recommend them to others.

I stumbled across a Bare Interview in a magazine/newspaper some years back and thought I would file that to memory because at the time was such a forward thinking approach to the whole process involved with losing a loved one. I dreaded the idea of having to ever use a traditional funeral parlour having seen first hand the narrower paths on offer. I’ve sat through many funeral services where it was the same service, the same ‘hit parade’ of funeral songs and bible verses or readings. Sadly, my brother was diagnosed with an aggressive terminal cancer diagnosis in 2025. I remembered the Bare article I’d read and decided to really look into what they had to offer. From the moment I ‘dipped my toes’ into the website, I felt no pressure to choose Bare, but found everything on offer made sense to us, was at our family’s discretion and timeframe and above all else, we were not treated as a number - we mattered. From beginning to end, geniune kindness, support and care was given to us from the BARE team and our Senior Arranger Kay Saneaha. Kay was available whenever we needed her either by phone or email. The dashboard assigned to our family allowed us to track what was happening every part of the journey, and held such valuable resources available at our fingertips whenever we needed. After a recent family bereavement, we were recommended to explore the cremation (and associated) services offered by Bare. I have to say that in a time when many public services are unreliable and questionable, Bare has certainly proven to be the absolute exception. Our experience from start to finish was exemplary. My sister recently,y died suddenly and tragically. I’m so grateful we found Bare Cremation Everything was so perfectly streamlined, efficient, simple, and affordable. There is no company out there that can come close to being as phenomenal as Bare!! Dealing with loss is tough enough, having to plan the funeral is just as difficult, however, with Bare’s constant contact, support and compassion from everyone involved, it made the process much easier to cope with and gave my family the perfect send off for my grandfather. Bare also found a celebrant for us, Dee Weisner, who did an amazing job. Dee was so warm and understanding, it was like she was apart of the family. There were others whom I am unable to remember their names (my apologies), you all were so amazing, your kindness helped my family and I during this difficult time and without your help we wouldn’t have been able to give him the perfect send off. Funny thing about death, when someone you love passes, no one really tells you just how much work and preparation will need to go into planning their funeral. You sit there in your grief, dumbstruck, trying to come to grips with the fact that the person you love most in this world is now gone, its numbing. The sheer thought of picking venues, coffins, catering, flowers, invitations, video’s of remembrance, just seems all too hard to wrap your head around. I then found Bare Funeral Services; and it was like my mum was watching over me. When I felt like I just needed to crawl up in a ball and run away, the staff from Bare were insurmountable in not only supporting me through these sad times, but went above and beyond to work tirelessly in the background, to still ensure everything came together for the day of her funeral. I want to give a big shout out to Chelsea, this woman literally became my counsellor, her loving heart to just listen, her support to organise where I didn’t have the strength, and ability to get things locked down, was my saving grace. I could never have done it, and I will always be grateful to her for this. My mum’s funeral could not have been more perfect. We used Bare to prepay our cremations a couple of years ago which was a smooth process with very helpful and caring Bare staff. My husband sadly passed away not too long ago all I had to do was make a single phone call to Bare they completely managed all the arrangements from beginning to end. They kept in touch with me checking on my well-being and providing regular updates on what was happening. I recommend using Bare they are kind and caring and provide a wonderful service to families at a very sad time. I would rate them ten out of ten.

I cannot rate Bare Funerals enough, we had a prepaid contract and when the time came it was executed very professionally and kindly. Nearly everthing was done without us having to lift a finger, it made the painful process so much easier to bear.

Bare Funeral was exemplary in laying down the processes and having a person nominated to look after you each step of the way. Bare Funeral online check list ( dashboard) is so helpful completing necessary task. They also offer free legal advice, if required, which i accepted and found so helpful. As for the day of remembrance, it ran so smooth everything one commended positively on such a moving experience.

I can't recommend Bare Cremation highly enough. My brother passed suddenly, with no forward planning leaving me, his closest relative to sort out things. Bare has been wonderful in helping me to navigate my way through something of which I have had absolutely no experience. There is a Dashboard with all the information of what must be done and when, five free Grief Counselling sessions, a 15 minute consultation with a Bare lawyer and a Bare consultant to assist all the way through. I could not have done it with our BARE.

We chose Bare as our cremation provider as we wanted a professional service with as little complication as possible. Being able to attend to everyting online made things even smoother, as we lived quite a distance from our father's hospice. Our father did not want a formal funeral, just a cremation and a life celebration a little further down the track. So knowing that he was in good hands, and would be personally delivered to us quickly after the cremation was a burden lifted. Bare staff were careful, supportive and dignified in all their communications, never making us feel pressured. We would highly recommend their services to anyone needing an excellent and simple cremation service.

We lost both our parents within 2 x weeks of each other a couple of months ago. Unfortunately mums passing, cremation etc was a nightmare, a horrid experience (not with Bare) and then dad passed 2 x weeks later. We had a prepaid service for dad with Bare Cremations as he was approaching 91 years and knew it wouldn't be long for his celestial transfer. Bare were caring from the get go, professional immediately after his passing and have been absolutely wonderful to deal with since. The staff are magnificent during your time of utter confusion. They were even compassionate with us whilst dealing with mums passing and that stress. Highly recommend their services and fab staff.

We couldn't have done it without Bare. The family decided to produce our own service with slides and speakers from the family. We chose the slides, selected the entry and exit music, and other music to be played in-between speeches. Bare organized it perfectly, including the handouts to attendees. Also, since we have many family and friends overseas or who couldn't attend the service, the ability to have the video available for months online was invaluable. But above all, the knowledge, competence, sensitivity and kindness shown to us during this difficult process where we had a funeral within 10 days of my mother's passing was very much appreciated, all with minimal intrusion. Recently the Bare Team came to my rescue in organizing my father’s Memorial Service. I was panicking about organizing this service, and was dissatisfied with the help I received when I organized my mother’s funeral a few years earlier. During a search on the Internet, I came across the Bare site and decided to try them after reading their glowing reviews. I though that if they were half as good as the reviews, I’d be happy. As it turned out, they were many times better. The Service was very special for our family and all those who attended. Their process was comprehensive and easy to follow. When Dad moved into aged care, we reluctantly planned for a future we knew would come.... With an online search, found Bare prepaid Cemations. I initially baulked, but no, I went ahead & organised his cremation, as per his wishes. Four 1/2 years later, the inevitable happened...Dad died & I was there....I struggled to think clearly, but Bare was informed & so began the fulfilment of the promise they made; Dad was cremated a few days later, with a lot of formalities such as a Death Certificate & Newspaper Death Notices attended to by Bare, who "touched base" from time to time but certainly weren't intrusive. I now have Dad's ashes with me (delivered by courier) waiting for the time when family can fulfil the last part of his wish... & be scattered in the same place his wife (of 50 years) were scattered in 2012. I have recommended Bare to others, & know their experiences have been similar

We are so pleased with our son's funeral from start to finish. I experienced Bare on the Gold Coast last year with my younger brother's funeral (a Memorial service following Cremation) and thought they did it really well. I found in looking for a reputable funeral company in Melbourne, it was difficult to find a company with such honesty in their fees & integrity as Bare Funerals had, and the Bare Next-of-Kin platform was excellent for updates & laid out the requirements for the funeral beautifully. We felt Bare really took care of our Greg when ours was the worst possible circumstances in which he passed away. Thanks all Staff again.

We had already spoken about using Bare Cremations for my husband and myself, and made mention of this to my Father. He agreed he didnt want a funeral as he was 92 and felt that he had lived a full life and wasnt wanting any fan fare. With family and friends living all around Australia and overseas, the idea of a service and formal funeral was a logistical nightmare. When Dad passed on 5th March, a quick call to Bare Cremations and within 20 minutes the process was all in place. Very empathetic staff were attentive to what we were going through and made the experience a lot less formal and more one on one. Within 2 weeks we had Dads ashes personally delivered and we are now arranging a time for our own memorial with everyone a lot less distressed by his passing and ready to rejoice together for a life well lived. I have no hesitation in recommending Bare Cremations to everyone who is of the same mindset: I beleive that my family should not have to arange a funeral and mourn a loss at the same time. Better the arrangements be finalised prior and just set the process in motion upon my passing and in due time say your farewells as need be. Thankyou for your service, affordable and respectful.

Simply excellent. Everything was organised perfectly, and the funeral service was lovely. I'm sure my dad would have loved it. I was kept up to date at every stage, and things were simple to organise, with the help of Tegan. The team are very respectful and accommodating. Everything was taken care of in a timely and respectful manner, and the price was great. No hidden fees or surprise costs. The quote I was given at the start was the amount I paid at the end of it all.

Our Dad had told us for years, we thought jokingly, that when his time came that we should use Bare Funerals. When he passed away after a very short cancer battle, we discovered Bare Funerals actually existed and I got in contact with them (as well as a number of other funeral services). From our original contact with Holly, to Dee who organised absolutely everything and Michelle who coordinated the service on the day, we could not have asked for a more compassionate and dedicated team to make sure that we gave Dad the send off we hoped for him.
