Before Lyndsay moved to Australia, she lived in London and Hong Kong. The daughter of Chinese parents, Lyndsay first came into contact with the funeral industry when she was commissioned by a Chinese funeral home to write an easy-to-read guide for families at need. The book was appreciated by families, hospitals and nursing homes, providing transparency about end-of-life planning as well as covering cultural aspects and traditions.
Being a creative writer, Lyndsay was then engaged by family members to write eulogies and encouraged to be a funeral celebrant. Later on, she was commissioned on two major projects to write a biography for China’s first pioneering badminton coach and to design and write a book on the life story of a Chinese philanthropist.
Looking through the eyes of these life stories gave Lyndsay an insight and appreciation for the beauty of life. She feels truly blessed in overcoming cancer while being pregnant with her second child. As a life celebrant, Lyndsay can offer comfort, knowledge and support to those at need.
Lyndsay is a Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrant, funeral celebrant and MC for corporate events. She can officiate funeral services and write eulogies on behalf of families.
