Hi, I'm Georgie. I can help guide families through their most difficult times in a way that doesn't add to the stress they are already experiencing. Our funeral, memorial, and cremation services offer everything they need, and nothing they don't. The most rewarding part of my role is the audible sigh of relief I hear from every family I speak with. This relief comes when families know that their loved one will be cared for with respect, professionalism, and empathy, at a reasonable cost.

Why I love what I do:

With two young children at home, it's a joy to work at Bare, where our services are simple and uncomplicated. If only everything in life (and death) could be so straightforward. Of course, we cannot take away a family's grief during this time, but we can take away the need to make endless decisions and the pressure to buy the best coffin and the most expensive flowers. Truly, I can't imagine anything worse than needing to get dressed up to come to a funeral parlour and be shown coffins that cost more than my car. The money saved, and the freedom to create a service your loved one would have actually wanted is so freeing for families, and long overdue in the funeral industry.

When I'm not at work:

I love to explore our backyard here in South Australia, especially our stunning wineries. I'm lucky to live near some stunning beaches and the best coffee in Australia. Other loves include Pilates, getting creative with Lego, and dancing.
