Working at Bare, and in the funeral industry more broadly, came from the personal experience of suddenly losing my Dad. When you’re grieving, so many thoughts go through your mind, but one that stayed with me was knowing I wasn’t the only person going through this, and that maybe my experience could help support others too.

I started at Bare as an Arranger before moving into mortician work and managing the mortuary here in Victoria. For me, it’s another way of caring for families and reassuring them that their loved one is safe with me until their final resting place. I also love being able to give families peace of mind knowing their loved one has been dressed in their favourite outfit or wearing their favourite shade of lippy.

Outside of caring for families and their loved ones, I love spending time with my family and animals. Since moving back to our family farm, my list of animals I want to rescue and give a loving home to just keeps growing.
