Built in 1907 and restored in 2010, Old Midland Courthouse comprises two fully air conditioned function areas. It has a stunning red brick exterior featuring classic stone pillars and arches making it beautiful and ideal for a lovely memorial service. The Old Midland Courthouse is also conveniently situated on Helena Street, right in the heart of Midland's historical precinct. It can be easily accessed via major transportation links, public transport, and there are parking options available. The venue's maximum capacity of 100 guests is suitable for an intimate gathering or a large celebration of life. Catering is not available at the venue and must be organized separately.

Cottesloe Civic Centre

The Cottesloe Civic Centre has a rich history and is a local landmark, featuring a beautiful two-story building with white walls and an orange tiled roof in the Spanish Mission style. The elegant ambiance of the centre makes it an ideal setting for commemorating a loved one's life. The centre has two halls; the War Memorial Hall has seating for 70 guests, or can accommodate 150 standing. The Lesser Hall holds 70 guests seated or 100 standing. This venue ensures an inviting and comfortable environment for family and friends to gather and honor your loved one. Catering service is not available and arrangements need to be made separately.

This lovely facility offers a range of fully-equipped, flexible spaces that can accommodate up to 160 guests. The venue also offers ample free parking for guests, with a major bus route stopping right outside its front door. If you wish to provide food and drinks for your guests, you have the option of engaging your own caterer or self-catering a simple yet lovely memorial service.

Access to a PA system and a commercial kitchen is available, providing you with all the necessary facilities for a celebration of life. The Centre is a flexible venue and offers a space that you can arrange to suit your preferences. Catering is not available on-site and needs to be organized separately.

Thornlie Park Centre is a community venue that is suitable for hosting memorials. This modern and purpose-built center is designed to cater to the needs of the local community. The facility features a spacious and fully accessible meeting room and lesser hall that can accommodate up to 140 people. The venue is also equipped with modern amenities, such as air-conditioning, accessible parking bays, and toilets, including an accessible toilet and an ambulant toilet. Additionally, the venue is versatile and can be arranged however you wish to suit your loved one’s memorial service. Catering is not available on-site and needs to be organised separately.

Function Centre Lathlain - WA

Lathlain Function Centre

The Lathlain Function Centre is a venue that caters to a wide range of occasions, providing adaptable spaces that can be tailored to suit any event. The venue can accommodate up to 230 people, making it an ideal space for a small or medium-sized lovely memorial service. With beautiful views of the lush green ovals and grandstand views from some of the function spaces, the centre provides a picturesque setting for your loved one’s celebration of life. While the venue does not provide catering services, this allows you the flexibility to organize your own catering or use a caterer of your choice. 
Bare Memorial or Funeral Packages includes any of the venues listed as ‘Included in Bare Package’. Note, some venues may apply additional fees based on decisions like service duration, guest count, or the day of the week. Please reach out to your arranger with any questions .
