A funeral that is right for you... and them.

Let us help you say the perfect goodbye by providing the highest-quality cremation service, and supporting you plan a fitting memorial service.

Every life is unique. Why should funerals be any different?

A beach farewell with family and friends
Take a walk along the family's favourite beach, share a few stories, and scatter your persons ashes into the water as the sun sets on the horizon.
Hire out the local church or town hall
Get family and friends together at the local townhall or community centre and fill the walls with amazing memories. Run the service yourselves, or select the perfect celebrant.
A backyard barbeque with family and friends
Put on a picnic or barbecue in your backyard for a relaxed, informal memorial and raise a glass in their honour.
Do nothing at all
If a memorial isn’t right for you, you could simply scatter your loved one’s ashes or display them at home. There might be a time that feels right later for a small memorial.

For as long as we’ve lived, humans have searched for ways to  commemorate the lives of people we’ve loved.  Whatever your beliefs, a memorial is an important element in saying goodbye.

However, a farewell doesn’t need to look a certain way.  It certainly doesn’t need to look like a traditional service in a funeral parlour.

At Bare, we want you to say goodbye your own way.

For families wanting to arrange a memorial themselves, we provide a high quality cremation-only service, and allow you the freedom to plan your own farewell.   For those that would like some support, we’ll pair you with one of our dedicated celebrants who’ll plan and conduct a memorial service that does right by your person.

In either case, our promise to you is that we’ll provide the highest possible care, for the lowest possible price.

We guide you through the process, every step of the way.

We Collect

Call or arrange online (24/7) and your dedicated funeral director will arrange to collect your person from their place of passing. We have a strict screening process and use only the highest quality transfer partners.

We Cremate

We perform a respectful, private cremation at a well respected crematorium.  We use only government-run or the independent crematoriums

At a time when your family and friends come together to pay respects to their departed loved one, Lauretta can help design a fitting celebration of life ceremony. A registered Civil Celebrant and qualified Justice of the Peace, she has been part of the Fraser Coast community for more than 28 years. She and her husband live on a rural block with horses, chickens and two dogs. When not busy with celebrancy, she works part-time in the university sector.
