Originally built and used as the Olympic and Paralympic Athlete's Village media and conference centre during the 2000 Olympic Games, the Newington Community Centre has since been renovated and now features modern amenities suitable for a memorial service. The main hall can accommodate up to 100 guests, while the meeting room can comfortably seat 40 people. The centre is equipped with a range of features to ensure that your loved one’s celebration of life runs seamlessly. These include timber floors, air conditioning, heating, a sound system, and a projector screen. They also have a kitchenette including a fridge, making it easy for you to self-cater for a simple yet lovely memorial service.

Reg Byrne Community Centre

The Reg Byrne Community Centre offers a spacious place ideal for commemorating the life of a loved one. The centre's main hall can seat up to 100 guests in a theatre-style setting or 80 guests for a function. They also have smaller meeting rooms that are ideal for intimate and private gatherings. In addition, the venue comes with an array of features including a full kitchen, air conditioning, heating, sound system, projector screen, tables, and chairs. You can set up the table and chairs however you wish for your loved one’s memorial service. The Reg Byrne Community Centre does not offer catering services, allowing you to choose your own caterers to suit your taste and budget.

The venue includes a meeting room, stage, timber floors, industrial kitchen, air conditioning, heating, sound system, projector screen, wall mounted TVs, tables, and chairs. You would need to organize your own caterers, ensuring that the food and drink served at your loved one’s lovely memorial service is exactly to your liking.

Richmond Club is a beautiful and spacious memorial venue that offers you a variety of options. The venue’s largest function room can seat up to 350 guests in a cabaret style seating arrangement, allowing ample space for all your family and friends. The Villaggio Bistro is ideal for a more intimate gathering of up to 280 people, while the Crafty Brew Café can comfortably seat up to 100 people. With both indoor and outdoor spaces available, you can arrange a lovely memorial service that reflects the life and personality of your loved one. Depending on the number of guests there are also many various catering options available on both sites.

With a large hall that can accommodate up to 150 guests, the Narellan Child, Family and Community Centre is ideal for hosting a beautiful memorial service. The hall’s raised stage provides a platform to deliver eulogies or share memories of your loved one, while the PA system ensures that everyone can hear the tributes clearly. The community hall also features a kitchen and separate bar service or registration area. Although catering is not provided at the venue, you are welcome to use their kitchen for self-catering.
